Tetra Tech Turns AI into SMB COVID-19 Relief Tool

As part of the solution to help small business owners understand or get answers to their most frequent questions on the Coronavirus relief programs, Tetra Tech has announced it built a chatbot that will guide people through the process of understanding programs such as Paycheck Protection Program, Economic Injury Disaster Loan Emergency Advance, Express Bridge Loans, and SBA Debt Relief, among others.

Basically, the chatbot will receive questions and provide answers that include a link to the appropriate government website. So far, it is only serving up high-level answers to questions and isn’t intended to be the basis to make a decision or be the sole source of information.

Tetra Tech explains the bot was trained using information from the SBA and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.
